Established in 2018 the "Media Personality of the Year" Award is presented to the Radio Host, News Anchor, Master of Ceremony, Sports Announcer or Online Personality who demonstrates extraordinary skills & obtains remarkable success in the genre of Media.
Selection criteria is based on, but not limited to:
1. Organic Social Media Engagement for Media
2. Success of their Most Recent Body of Work
3. Growth from the Previous Year
4. Consistency, Originality, Creativity in their Genre
5. Recognition from Colleagues in their Category

#BHawards 2025 finalists will be selected by a committee of trusted industry professionals. Each award category will have a team of ambassadors unique to the category they represent. Additionally, BHacademy members may also nominate & vote on finalists for this year's Awards Show. Each BHacademy Committee Member is screened to ensure they are active & in good standing within the specific category they represent, eliminating corruption & voting pacts. Committee membership is invite-only, but individuals that feel they meet committee requirements may apply for committee membership below.
MPOTY Industry's Choice Commitee requirements:
1. Must be a Media Personality
2. Must be currently active in the media industry
3. Must have several years of experience in the media industry
4. Must be well respected in the media industry
5. Must have bona fide knowledge of the history & future of the genre
MPOTY will have 2 groups of finalists:
1. People's Choice Finalists - Winner selected by the fans
2. Industry's Choice Finalists - Winner selected by industry professionals
