Youth Trailblazer OTY
Est. 2018 | Subcategory: Achievement | Awarded: 3
Established in 2018 and previously named the "Youth Star of the Year" Award the "Youth Trailblazer" Award is presented to the Teen or Kid Trailblazer ages 17 & Under who demonstrates extraordinary skills with exemplary grades in school & obtains remarkable success in their genre.
Selection criteria is based on, but not limited to:
1. Exemplary grades & conduct in school
2. Success of their Most Recent Body of Work
3. Growth from the Previous Year
4. Consistency, Originality, Creativity in their Genre
5. Recognition from Colleagues & Adults

#BHawards 2025 finalists will be selected by a committee of industry professionals. Each award category will have a team of panelists unique to the specific group of people it represents. For example, only Youth Trailblazers will be eligible to become committee members for the "Youth Trailblazer of the Year" Award. Committee members are only allowed to nominate colleagues in the specific category they represent, eliminating corruption & voting pacts. Committee membership is invite-only, but individuals that meet the "Industry's Choice" criteria may apply for committee membership below.
YTOTY Industry's Choice Commitee requirements:
1. Must be a Youth Trailblazer
2. Must be currently active in school
3. Must have several years of good conduct & good grades in school
4. Must be well respected by their peers
5. Must be committed to the skillsets of their industry
YTOTYwill have 2 groups of finalists:
1. People's Choice Finalists - Winner selected by the fans
2. Industry's Choice Finalists - Winner selected by industry professionals
